Everyone will get a kick out of this one. When Steve and I first started dating, our first weekend getaway trip was to Lincoln City, Oregon (which is now our annual family vacation place.) We went to Newport Bay and took a tour of Ripley's Believe It or Not and the Wax Museum. When we were done with the tours we went to the gift shop to get something for Raymont. We came across the Gene Machine. It scans a picture of you and your significant other and in the process comes out what your child would look like. I don't know at the time what made us decide to pick a girl (must have been fate) but here is what our daughter would "look like"

I don't know what happened to her neck! And Steve's picture looks like a mug shot!! :)
This past February when we went to Lincoln City we figured why not make the trip to Newport and try the Gene Machine again. So we did and this is how the second picture turned out:

What happened to her ears? They are like Star Trek's Spock character!! Of course we know that this is not how Kathryn will look like when she's born but we sure got a kick out of doing it.
We will put these pictures in Kathryn's scrapbook and we'll be able to look back and laugh about it.
