We took Kathryn to her 2 week well being checkup at the doctor today. Kathryn is currently 21 1/2 inches long. She weighs 9lbs and 7.5oz and her head circumfrence is 14". Doctor says that she is doing really well for a 2 week old baby, she falls within the 85-95 percentile on each of the categories. We have tried various formulas on her and for now we are going to stick with Enfamil Nutrimagin. It's the best formula that won't upset her stomach. Her next checkup will be when she's 2 months of age.
Afterward we headed over to Babies R Us to buy Kathryn a swing. There is only two places where she's comfortable sleeping and that would be in her crib, or in our arms. With the weather being hot, it's uncomfortable for her to sleep upstairs during the day. We figure with the swing, we can have her nap downstairs and give us a chance to do some things around the house.
Since Raymont won the right due date, we took him out to lunch at Red Robin and afterward he got his Cold Stone Ice Cream treat! He has been looking forward to that all weekend! Big brother deserved it!
