We took Kathryn to her checkup today. Luckily no immunization shots had to be administered, but they did do a blood count to screen for iron deficiency. The tests came back and she is within normal limits. Steve is on vacation this week so he came along with us. Kathryn is currently 29 1/2" for height (95th percentile), 21 lbs 10 oz for weight (90th percentile), and head circumfrence of 44 cm (50th percentile).
Doctor says everything is perfect with Kathryn. We can start giving her table foods. I gave her a banana to start with and she took cute perfect bites. She has been eating baby crackers frequently and she seems to love those. Her appetite has grown and we have moved her up to stage 3 of the foods. They have little pieces in them that are easy for her to chew.
She is moving around quite a bit since she has mastered the crawl. She is so quick to get to everything. Baby proofing is definitely on our to-do list. She can pull herself up to stand all by herself. She doesn't like being in her activity jumper anymore.
